Why Slotto
Booking a salon often means phoning ahead, being offered a time that turns out to be taken, and waiting anyway when you arrive. Salons, meanwhile, run a busy floor where most customers still walk in, and an online diary that doesn’t know about them causes double bookings.
We’re building Slotto around a few decisions that follow from that:
- Customers see slots worked out from a salon’s real artists, skills and chairs, not a schedule someone typed in.
- Salons don’t build schedules by hand; Slotto assigns the artist, and the salon can override it.
- Walk-ins count. Online booking is capped so it can’t take over the day.
- Salons that keep their roster accurate earn Instant confirmation. Everyone else gets a clear deadline.
- Every salon is checked by a person before customers can book it.
